GREATNESS COMES TO PEACHES!
Got news in October that Peaches has now reached the status of GREAT Aunt. Seems that her niece, Jamie, had a little girl and made our Peach even greater than ever. Congrats to all!
MART AND KAMMIE WANT TO HEAR FROM THE MT. MARCY GANG OF 1966!
Chirstmas 2016 GREAT Peach had some time with Great Nephew!
Yes, like reunions, keeping this website current and updated is a lot of work. Thanks to Go Daddy, the tools are fairly easy to use but we really need to keep this site up to date. Simply, we need a couple people who are interested in learning how to post new things on the site. You will be provided with instruction, can work from your own computer and you would earn all sorts of kudos for your efforts.
Seriously, we need some help. If you're interested in learning and could work on the site maybe once a month, let Barbara Fisher know - email@example.com.
ANNOUNCEMENTS, ANNOUNCEMENTS, A-NOW-OWNCE-MENTS!
When you stop by the site, make sure you always "click" in here for any news or updates. If you have an announcement that needs sharing, a picture to share, a memory to share let us know. We'll make sure all Onanda finds it right here!
Your announcement will generally be posted within 24 hours of its arrival (more often sooner).
A GOLD MEDAL and kudos of the highest order go to June for her incredible patience and eye for editing the new site. Let her know she's the best!
YOU'VE GOT TO READ THIS!
Hey all, it's summer. It's hot everywhere! But Linda Markin, AKA Fuzzy, sent something our way that must be seen! Enjoy! Sorry can't clear this up...
TIME CAPSULE OPENED!
Part of our last reunion (July 2015) was made super special, incredibly awesome with the opening, at Onanda, of a time capsule buried the summer of 1976. Check out the details of how it was found and what was in it.
ONANDA IS ON FACEBOOK!
Widgit (Sarah Gleason) has set up an Onanda meeting place on Facebook. Make sure you join the fun there too!
It has been brought to our attention that Apples has been added to the East Rochester High School Wall of Fame. You go, girl!
Reunions of Camp Onanda staff, campers, friends and family are always just fun. Reunions are not easy to organize. If you have the time and energy to help out in any way for our next reunion, please let us know. Best contact would be Barb Fisher - firstname.lastname@example.org.
PS Those "details" will be coming soon
ONANDA'S HISTORY HAS BEEN PUBLISHED!
When Camp Onanda Gives Her Call is finally published as most of you know. It's still available too if you didn't get your copy of it yet. Contact Truesie or simply go to a Barnes&Nobel or an internet site like Amazon if you'd like a copy.
JUNE WANTS TO KNOW....
At the end of staff shows counselors sang a year dated song. It started with the year being sung, like "1-9-6-9 at Onanda." June wants to know when that song was first used and for how many years. Do you know? Let us know if you do, please.
